Joey and Nicky's 3rd birthday party
We were invited to our friends' Joey and Nicky's 3rd birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.....my kids had a blast! I brought my mom with me as "reinforcement" ......LOL. :) Four active toddlers is NO match for Mommy!!!! :) We had a GREAT time and are so lucky to have such good friends! Happy Birthday Joseph and Nicholas!
Santa Claus has arrived......at the mall!
My sister and I took the kids to the local mall to see the arrival of Santa Claus. The kids were all very excited to see Santa.....and especially Katie-she was searching for him everywhere! Emma was definitely more reserved---she was clinging on to me! All in all, we had a nice trip..........although we did have a very scary few moments of "losing" Nicholas.........we were very fortunate that a passerby brought him to the security officer, who in turn, found us immediately as we were searching for him.....NEVER a dull mo ment.....that's for sure!
3 year old checkup
I took the babies for their 3yo checkup. By myself. And then even stopped at my sis's work......I have to say........it was do-able! MAYBE, just MAYBE, things will start getting easier??? LOL
Anyway, here are their stats.....all are doing great. Austin's in the 75th% for height and Emma is in the 65% for weight!!! Matty is in 13% for weight, and 5th % for height......
Katie is in 22nd% for weight, and 33th% for height....

Halloween 2009
We survived Halloween!!! LOL My sister and I took the little ones to the mall early in the day to do some trick or treating. They did great--all got into it and loved getting special treats!!! They also did EXCELLENT for the night time trick or treating....Austin was VERY EXCITED to "push the button" (aka the doorbell) at all the houses.....even having a brief meltdown b/c Nick "pushed the button" first....I stepped in and asked that poor woman if she minded if they all "pushed her button"...........they were so much more focused on that then the candy! LOL By the end of the evening, as you can see in the picture, Austin was still sneaking candy underneath a table---he thought we didn't see him!!! LOL
Stickers, anyone?
We took the kids to the mall to do some shopping-AND get out of the house! While we were in SEARS, the kids were getting a bit rambunctious........so the nicest salesman in the shoe department came out with a boatload of "price" stickers for the kids to occupy themselves with......so nice!!!
Big kid beds!!!
For the babies' 3rd birthday, Nanny, Poppy, Tom and I bought the babies "big kid" beds......we bought a bunk bed set that for now, we will leave as two twin beds. Ideally, the girls will share one and the boys will share one......They LOVED the beds! Although, there is a lot of "bed hopping" going on around here.... LOL

3rd birthday party................already???!!!!!
Yes, it is true!!!! I cannot believe I had my little ones' 3rd birthday party already......on 10/25. They don't "officially" turn three until 11/3........so I did have the party a week early or so........but still, can it really be possible they are three years old???!!!! I am still in shock. But I do know for certain, that I am the luckiest mom alive----Besides my adopted older two children, and my seven year old son, I am forever blessed with happy and healthy quadruplets. I truly feel like I won the lottery! :)

We were so excited to travel to Delaware for our friends' 3rd birthday party! I met Jill online thru MOST (Mothers of SuperTwins) and we have become friends since then.........both trying to give each other "high calorie" ideas for our peanuts! LOL I am so glad we were able to be at the boys' birthday party-we had a GREAT time!!!!

We celebrated our cousin Jenna's 1st birthday party at her house..........complete with PONY rides! :)
NEW car seats!
Since the kiddos have been getting out of their car seats for some time now, I scheduled an appt with the local police station to have them properly installed. To my SURPRISE, the police provided us with NEW car seats for the kids!!! They were absolutely wonderful with us! Thank you so much for helping us stay safe! :)

Birthday party down the shore.....
Nooooo, not for Nick this time, but rather a classmate. Nick and I had a great time sunbathing at the beach, going in the water, and going on so many rides!!!! :)
And a Trenton Thunder game for Nick's birthday!
To wind down Nick's birthday celebration week, he went to a local Trenton Thunder baseball game with Dad and the Cub Scouts. After the game, he even slept in the ballfield!!! What a cool experience for his 7th birthday!

When Nick woke up on his birthday morning, he was so excited to find out what was on the agenda for that special day. (Last year we went to Sesame Place-I guess we started a bad tradition!) So, after some investigative work, I found a place not too far away that could accomodate all the kids. Kid Junction. It was so much fun for all of them. The slides, ball pits, etc............along with several "pretend play" rooms that kept the kids busy for hours: post office, kids gym, supermarket, animal hospital, dress up and stage, pizza parlor.........It was a very cool place and I am actually considering have the babies' party there this year :)
My baby turned 7 !
Nicholas officially turned seven years old on 8/7/09. I can't believe how much he has grown. I am so proud of him for so many different reasons. He is a very, very good big brother to all the little ones. I could not have asked for anyone better. He is a sweet boy. He loves to antagonize Lexi, but that is what little brothers are supposed to do. :) I enjoy the moments I get to snuggle with him-night time is the best! :) As he goes to sleep, he tells me how much he loves his "momma" and that he loves me to infinity............and then even farther than that! :) I love this boy! :) Happy 7th birthday, Bubba! :) May all your dreams and wishes come true, my sweet boy. :)

Yes, Nick and Noah decided to become a "driveway" band.......Nick amused the neighbors with a lot of c razy drumming and dancing stunts! LOL :)
